The City of Columbia Falls posts job openings on a bulletin board outside the City Manager’s office.  Jobs will also be posted here on the site.  Applications are accepted at City Hall as well as by Flathead Job Service.  The City of Columbia Falls is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).  The City of Columbia Falls requires substance abuse testing for any position requiring a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Utility Billing Clerk/Deputy City Clerk
The City of Columbia Falls is seeking a detail oriented candidate for the full-time Utility Billing Clerk/Deputy City Clerk position. Applicants must be skilled in customer service, working knowledge of computers electronic data processing along with ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Desired minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, two or more years of college business classes preferred, two or more years of experience in clerical positions including bookkeeping, experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Black Mountain or similar software experience is preferred. Must be a Notary Public or ability to obtain designation.
Starting wage is $18.70 per hour with an excellent benefit package.
